Sumario:Economic success is unevenly divided. Some group's earnings far outpace earnings of others, so that earnings variations can be considered more the norm than exception. Because of this, numerous research efforts have been devoted to understanding earnings ditribution. Despite valid economic arguments explaining earnings variations, it is problematic to explain why certain demographic groups such as women, blacks, and hispanics tend to fall into the lower tail while other groups such as Jews, Catholics, and Asians are prone towards the upper end of the spectrum.
